Valediction The valedictory session was chaired by Shri T N Dhar, lAS (retd) and honorary Secreatry, IIPA, U.P. The key-note speakers for the session were Shri VN Garg, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Ms Ashima Singh, Director, Indian Railway Institute of Transport Management. Shri VN Garg through illustrations explained the urgency of global climate crisis and also the inconvenient truth about it. It was an enriching speech that threw light on many aspects connected with the climate change crisis. He gave two very important points of action as a roadmap to Swayam Siddha, the organizer of the event-1) follow up by organizing activities after the event for converting the input of the events into action and 2) creation of website of Swayam Siddha to connect to larger society as the objective of this event envisages. Ms Ashima Singh through a lively presentation shared before the audience the concerns, issues and the best practices to make the wheel move the green mile. Shri TN Dhar in his valedictory speech informed the audience about the very important facts related to the issue of climate change in the country with a focus on Uttar Pradesh. It was a highly informative speech. The volunteers who contributed in the conduct of the event were given certificates by the Valedictory Speakers. The core committee members cum volunteers and the chief volunteers were given mementos The event concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Dr Shikha Tripathi and presentation of mementos to the valedictory session speakers.
